I wanted to start off this blog by sharing a little bit about how The Wellness Edit came to be, and what inspired me to create it.
This journey started with a simple idea, one that slowly grew into something much deeper than I imagined. Anxiety and depression is something I’ve struggled with since I was thirteen. So exploring wellness, mindfulness, and the little things that make life feel more balanced and meaningful, is something that’s truly helped me better myself slowly but surely . For a while, I felt like I didn’t have a place in the world to bring all those thoughts together and make a space where I could really layout what’s helped me, what I’ve learned, and what continues to inspire me but as I’ve really started to figure out who I am, I’ve realized that I can make a space not just for me but for other people.
So I created The Wellness Edit.
The Idea started during a time when I was reflecting a lot — on my routines, my mindset, and the way I was showing up for myself. I realized that true wellness isn’t about doing everything perfectly or following strict rules. It’s about finding what feels right for you, one small, intentional choice at a time.
That’s really the heart of The Wellness Edit: creating a space that feels calm, kind, and real. A space where you can take a deep breath, slow down, and remind yourself that you don’t have to have it all figured out to take care of yourself.
Here, you’ll find a little bit of everything that’s helped me along the way — from simple self-care practices and mindful living tips to wellness products and ideas that have genuinely made a difference in my life. My goal is to share what’s real and relatable — not the polished, unattainable version of “wellness” we see online, but something that feels doable and authentic.
Because the truth is — wellness isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing up for yourself, even in the small ways. It’s about learning, growing, and making tiny edits that lead to a more peaceful, grounded version of you.
So whether you’re looking for new ways to care for your mind and body, or just a reminder that you’re doing enough — I hope you find something here that resonates with you.
Thank you for being here at the very beginning of this journey. I’m so excited to share, connect, and grow with you — one edit at a time.
With love, The Wellness editor.
